Participation of the FCI General Committee and the FCI European Section members, representatives of the FCI Commissions and working groups' was hugely important. The stakeholders shared their insights and examined the current challenges of the canine world, proposed the solutions and discussed the ways of responding to them.
Daiva Kvedarienė, the Manager of the Education Centre of the Lithuanian Kennel Club and the Secretary of the Commission, made a presentation on behalf of the FCI Commission for Education and Public Relations. In her speech she discussed the ways the NCOs could contribute to the education of the general public and how they should communicate to the general public about purebred dogs and our sport. The aim of the presentation was to reveal the benefits of taking the expert role in education by the NCOs and gave examples of unlimited possibilities of educating the general public about purebred dogs, responsible breeding and animal welfare.
Further, the Commission exhaustively discussed their further activities, set the priorities and plans for the work to be done in the future.
The FCI Commission for the Education and Public Relations extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Turkish Kennel Club for hosting the event, its warm hospitality and organizing the event to perfection.
The FCI Commission for Education and Public Relations was established in 2019 and since then its President is Mrs. Ramunė Kazlauskaitė, the President of the Lithuanian Kennel Club.
